Feathering my nest. . . Happy Pink Saturday, February 27, 2010

Sometimes not a miracle, but just believing, takes the greatest faith of all. . .

Today for Pink Saturday I wanted to celebrate the miracle of life. Before long little birds will be building their nests and baby birds will be born. I love to decorate Bunny Cottage with things that I love. I call this "feathering my nest". My home is a great blessing to me. It is a place of refuge in a not always quiet and peaceful world. I enjoyed "froo-frooing" up my lamp and a vintage hat with roses, pink shiny ribbon, a vintage brooch and a vintage image. What do you love to "feather your nest" with?

Please go by and visit Ms. Beverly and all of the pink lovers today by going here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
Thank you, Beverly, for being our faithful host each week. Thank you, dear friends, for stopping by for a little visit. I hope you have a weekend of celebrating life and everything that you love.

Dear Vicki, what a lovely nest it is too :o) It has always amazes me how some of you ladies can make your home so 'froo froo'. Is there some secret college course that I don't know about? lol :o)

Have a blessed weekend, my friend.

Vicki, I love your post today. I like the lamp, but I also loved the vintage hat. It looks like something that you could wear to church on Easter Sunday. You don't see the hats like you use to. I, also, like the pictures and sayings along the side of your blog. Very Very Enjoyable.

Hail Vicki, who puts the FROU in froufrou! I love the lamp, and the vintage hat - well, I never would have thought of something so original. It's sacriledge, but I'm wondering whether such a hat could work as a lamp as well... wouldn't it be a conversation piece.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Vicki, thanks for coming by and I'm so happy you like my blog banner. I made it myself. I was thinking of doing another but will make sure it is as nice as this one. I use my little old nikon digital camera and my own Valentine's. I love your garden as I am so into my garden that I cant wait for spring to come so I can get back out in it. I need to do some much this year. My husband collects all type of Lilacs. Makes my life full of pretty flowers. Thanks again for visiting me. Have a lovely weekend.
