Bunny Cottage, inside and out . . . Pink Saturday, February 6, 2010

Hello, dear and kind friends, and thank you for stopping by for a visit! For Pink Saturday I am showing you a new chest of drawers that I recently purchased from IKEA. Mostly you are just seeing the top of it, but I do love the new chest because it is all white. I have found that IKEA does carry quite a bit of lighter colored furniture which is what I like the most. The lamp with the Victorian couple, the rose painting, and the rose pink shelf were purchased at a nearby antique mall. There is a lady there who has a lot of roses and the shabby chic look that I prefer so I enjoy visiting her booth a lot. The last pictures are of my cottage garden. I don't know about you all, but I am needing to see some flowers blooming to brighten up this cold, cloudy winter day. Thank you, Ms. Beverly, for hosting our Pink Saturday each week!! Please go and visit Beverly and all of our pink participants by going here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

In the hustle and bustle of life, I need to be reminded of this scripture verse often: "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

May you feel His nearness today! Have a wonderful weekend!! Peace and blessings are my wishes for you!!
