I have the teakettle going. Please come in for a cup of tea, dear friends!!

Let's have tea in my sunroom today! There are windows all round, and we can sip our tea, enjoy wonderful conversation, and look out onto the garden. Please sit here on this comfy pillow covered sofa. I have chosen one of my oldest Limoges teapots from France. It is blue and covered in roses. The pink teacup is perfect for a nice cup of tea. We will also have some yummy cupcakes! Before you leave, I would love to give you this pretty rose bouquet filled with roses from my garden. It smells heavenly, too! Thank you so much for coming for a visit today!! Friends over for tea is so enjoyable!! I must thank Kim from "Shabby, Pink and Pretty" for so graciously hosting our "Tea Things Tuesday" each week. Please visit Kim and all the other participants to see what tea things they will share with us. You can find them here: http://www.shabbypinkandpretty.blogspot.com/

"May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you."
(an old Irish blessing)

Blessings to you. I appreciate and cherish each and every one of you!!

Why, Miss Vicki, I don't mind if I do have a cup of tea. I do admire your lovely sunroom...very beautiful and so comfortable supported by these lovely pillows. Your own handy work, perhaps? These roses are so plump. Well, I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and will return again soon. Thank you so much, Miss Vicki, for your hospitality :o)

Hello Vicki... how beautiful everything looks, and here I am, dressed in jeans, a teeshirt and Reebox, may I still come in for tea??? I promise I won't spill on your beautiful sofa... may I pour us a cup from your exquisite Limoges teapot? Merci! Bisous... Julie Marie PS If I had known you were putting the tea kettle on, I would have saved you a slice of my apple pie!

Thank you for a sweet trip down memory lane! My mother read to my sisters and me for many years, and I passed that gift down to my own children--now they, and I, read to my grandchildren. Reading and books are such special gifts!
