Happy Pink Saturday!!! October 10, 2009

Hello, dear friends, welcome to another day of perky pinks!! As always, I would like to thank Beverly from "How Sweet the Sound" for so graciously hosting us each week. It has been a cool, rainy day here in Central Texas. I even got to wear my Texas Longhorns Snuggie that my niece gave me a few weeks ago. Some hot chocolate also tasted delicious in this cooler autumn weather. The pinks I am showing today are from around my cottage home and garden. You see two of my favorite rose covered plates that hang in my living room. In the third picture, you see a vintage valentine covered in pink roses and a pink and blue vintage plate. These hang in my bedroom. In the next picture, you see a little vignette of some of my favorite things: a heart, a rose covered teacup, an apothecary jar tied with ribbons and pink roses around the top of the jar, and a vintage free standing picture of children and a rabbit pulling a cart. The next two picture are of some pink zinnias and roses in my garden. If you look very closely, you can see my gray kitty hiding among the flowers (you can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them). The last two pictures are vintage images of children. I love the way the little girl is posing for her picture. I do believe I am addicted to vintage images. I can spend hours looking at them on various internet sites who so graciously share them with us.
I am so glad you dropped in for a visit today. I value and cherish each one of you and the friendship we enjoy. Please visit Beverly and all of the other participants for Pink Saturday. You will be glad you did. You can find these participants here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Dear Vicki,
Your Valentine of young lovers kissing is adorable darling. I love your informal garden; so much more difficult to achieve than a structured, regimented style.
Spotted your Kitty too (smile).

Hi Vicki, Loved all your pretty pinks....especially the pink zinnias and roses. I am thrilled that my pink zinnias are still blooming and still growing strong. I had to stake them the other day they have gotten so tall. I hate to see the frost get them but until then will pick pick pick. Happy Pink Saturday.
