Celebrating Love and Marriage. . .Texas Style. . .

One of my very favorite Texas brides and grooms. . .My grandparents, Maude May and G. W. Russell. . .

I love how their hands are almost touching. . .Married many, many years, raised a very large family, and now sweethearts forever in heaven. . .

A Texas wedding starts with that perfect dress. . .

and the perfect venue. . .

Our Texas men know how to show respect for our ladies. . .

And Texas ladies definitely know how to accesorize. . .

We get our brides to the church in style. . .

A happy Texas bride and groom . . .

no wedding would be complete without a dance. . .

How about a little Texas two-step or Cotton Eyed Joe?

Last, but not least, our Texas weddings have to be sealed with . . .

A big Texas kiss!

Today I am participating in my friend, Stephanie's "Wedding Party Celebration".

I am having to post a little early. The party doesn't really start until Friday. Stephanie has hosted this party for several years now. Thank you for being our gracious hostess, Stephanie! Please visit Stephanie and all of the participants at http://angelicaccents.blogspot.com/ for some great wedding fun! Remember the party starts Friday!

Hi there! I have not been by to visit you in so very long! It's good to stop back by and "see" you.

I too love the position of the hands in that photo of your grandparents. Great photos and sentiments all the way around! Some lovely brides and dapper grooms and gentlemen. And some amazing boots with those dresses! I love the black and white titled "A happy Texas bride and groom". All very neat.

Hope you get to visit my post for this occasion!

Til another time, take care!

Hello! I had never seen brides wearing Western boots with their dresses - am seeing this on other blogs too. The originality of each wedding is so much fun to see!

Hi Vicki, I'm still making the rounds via Stephanie's Wedding Party. I love your Texas style wedding post. I especially love the beautiful gown on the bride with the lacy long sleeves, dancing with her groom outside in the open field. How pretty. My eyes are instantly attracted by a wedding gown with long sleeves. I think they are so elegant, and the way this one cuts in the back is gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing. Following and looking forward to visiting.
Much love,
Marcia

I ADORE your Texas wedding photos. I too love the gentlemen tipping their hats. Gorgeous pictures in the horse and carriage--love that. And this Kansas girl loves to two-step.
Very darling.
