Hello, dear friends. I got a new computer last weekend. My youngest son and grandchildren came for a visit last Saturday. I had been wanting a new computer for a very long time. When I told my son, he said, "Let's go take a look at some new computers." Well, that was all it took. I bought a new one with Windows 7, and Aaron hooked it all up for me. I even have a new copier/printer. Let me tell you, I am loving it! My old computer was ten years old and very slow. Not this new one. It is very fast!! I printed off some vintage girls and strung them on some pink ribbon and made a garland for my fireplace. I had so much fun! I will be addicted now. I will probably have garlands strung on every nook and cranny in Bunny Cottage. Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my new creation. I hope you are having a wonderful week!! Vicki I love your sweet garlands! A new computer is like a breath of fresh air. My dear hubby bought one for me in December, and my sweet son keeps it up for me (I sure don't know anything about computers ;-) Enjoy your high speed.

That garland is beautiful! I really want to do one...but I can never decide which images I want!Congrats on your new computer...we got a new one not long ago, and I hadn't realized how slow the other one was until I used the new one:)

i couldn't live without an up to date, fast computer...it has to be able to keep up with the speed of my creative brain! lol

I know what you mean. Mine was about 6 or 8 years old last year when I got my new one. The only thing I hated was that all my old stuff would not work in it. I wished I had waited to get the windows 7, but the home vista premium is not that bad.

Congrats on your new computer and printer. I got a new printer for Christmas that also scans, but haven't even looked to all the functions it has. I bet I could have some fun, too. How wonderful to get a new computer ... I've been sorely tempted to update as well because I've had so much trouble with this Dell running Vista, but I'm hoping to get things squared away to USE it until it's OLD and slow before investing in a new one.
