Dreaming of spring at Bunny Cottage...Pink Saturday, March 6, 2010

"If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall."~Nadine Starr

Hello, sweet friends! Today I am sharing things around my cottage home that are reminding me of spring! Pretty red cardinals, bunnies, boys and girls in the garden chasing butterflies, rose covered dishes, and a little daffodil in my garden opening up to the sun. What reminds you of spring?

I am wishing you a barefoot kind of day with the sun shining brightly!! Please visit Beverly, our kind host, and the others who are sharing their pinks today. You can find them all here:

Jonquils and blue Easter eggs! You know that shade that only an Easter egg can be? That one!

Happy Early PS, Vicki. I was supposed to leave today, but I am leaving in the morning so won't be playing with y'all this weekend or for a while. Sigh. Miss my pink friends!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Dear Vicki,

Oh, what a beautiful post, as always!!!! The quote is wonderful. Your Bunny Cottage is a beautiful place, and is a reflection of your beautiful heart! I love the Sweet Dreams sign, those roses are lovely! Yes, indeed, you and I love the same things! The little girl with the cardinal is just darling, as is the bunny. I love the beautiful print. Those little girls are so sweet and innocent. Your banner looking as beautiful as ever, and the little box is so sweet. How wonderful to have a daffodil blooming. My Hyacinths are blooming and they remind me of spring, as does anything pink, along with bunnies and chicks, and all those sweet things. I am wishing you the same kind of day sweet friend! Enjoy your weekend! Thank you for your sweet comment. I am always so delighted to see you have visited!

Much love,
Paula

Love the girl with the little red bird. Your new banner you created from your new printer is so much fun too, computer shopping can be daunting as I recently discovered while buying a laptop! Happy Pink Vicki and have a great weekend!

Hi Vicki!
What sweet surroundings...
I enjoy all the loveliness you bring to us.

Right now, I'm thinking of the melting snow. Tomorrow it will be a bit over 40° here and our 6' snowbank will continue melting into the driveway and street. All around you hear the gushing of water... running to the ends of the road.
I love that sound... it's the sound of spring coming!
have a lovely and springtime weekend ~ Maria

Great minds think alike! Except your pictures are soooo much prettier and Spring-like than mine! I so love it all. I do believe I could come to your house, close my eyes and point to something and it would sooo fit right into my home, too! We are kindred spirits!

Happy Pink Saturday!

All so very sweet and pretty indeed. We still have some dust here but it is high in the sky, not floating down around us. I'm not sure about going barefoot around here! I'll wait for the summer when I get to the STates and can find some grass. Best wishes for a beautiful day. Blessings, Tammy

I adored your pictures for pink Saturday. I always went barefoot in the early spring. I would get in trouble for it at times because my dad would think that it wasn't quite warm enough. We are 14 days a way for the first day of Spring I can't wait. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wow Ms Vicky, that is a lot of comments. Can I borrow some? Just joking. It's no wonder, your posts are always so beautiful to read and to look at and I can only imagine what the new toy will do for you, it will take you to new highs. I'm loving my new computer too, just trying to figure it out still. Take care and it is starting to look more and more like Spring. Blessings, Marta

Happy PiNk, Vicki

I love all of your PiNk!! So nostalgic...

I had sunny skies and in the 60's today...does this mean that Springtime really is around the corner? [considered I just has 3 days of snow fall]

Have a great day and do drop by when you have a free moment. :0)

Gorgeous, gorgeous! I've enjoyed everything in your post. Daffodils remind me of my childhood - they were a favourite flower because to me they were a happy looking flower plus yellow was my fav colour (still is one of my favs).

Happy pink saturday Vicki!
