I've just returned . . .

from New Mexico where I spent the Fourth of July with my seven precious grandchildren~

We had so much fun. . . We shot skyrockets! We danced with sparklers! We grilled hamburgers out of doors!

We planted flowers! We played old fashioned games like "Mother May I?" and "Simon Says"!

We celebrated America and felt very grateful for our freedom and for this wonderful country in which we live!

I am so thankful today for my family and friends~

I am thankful for the safe trip we had and . . .

I am thankful to once again be in my own little bed enjoying peaceful dreams! I hope you had a good holiday, dear friends. Sending love and hugs to you today and always.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip. We just spent a week in Sri Lanka and arrived back at 8 am this morning. With all the travelling, I haven't slept in a couple of days so it is time to hit the hay in my corner of the world. Wishing you a wonderful week. Tammy

Hi Vicki, Welcome home. Grandchildren always make every trip worthwhile when you don't get to see them as often as we like. I am glad that you had a good time and had a wonderful 4th. We watched fireworks on the television because it was much to hot for us here in our neck of woods. Triple digits were unreal for this time of the year. We did get some rain yesterday and cool it down some. I like your previous post. Have a wonderful day. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.
