I tried my hand at. . .

embellishing a bottle~First, I covered it with some dainty lace~

Then I added some cloth flowers~

and topped it off with some crinkly seam binding ribbon, a little bling and a tiny rosebud~

I am not particulary "crafty", but I am pretty happy with the way it turned out~Have a happy weekend and beautiful upcoming week!

Oh, isn't that sweet! I'll have to try that, for sure. Costs nothing.

Hi Vicki, That is the way we start to learn something new. Your turned out really well for the first time. We just have to be brave enough to try. I enjoyed your Magical words from your childhood post. It brought back some wonderful memories. Have a wonderful weekend. Ours is turning back hot. Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.

It looks very pretty. I never thought I would learn to read crochet patterns -- and though there are still some that stump me, I have gotten better and am able to create all sorts of things that I only dreamed about before. Don't know what I would do without my hobbies. Hope you have a wonderful day. Tammy
