A merry heart. . .

doeth good like a medicine. . .Proverbs 17:22. My momma used to say. . .

"Life is too short to spend it being angry or upset with others." She was a very wise woman.

And so, I choose to celebrate each day that I have been blessed to live on this beautiful earth. . .

Life is sweet. . . Life is a beautiful thing! I am thinking of our brave military men and women who have served so faithfully over the years, protecting us, ensuring that we have the freedom that we hold so dear. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! God bless each of you, my friends!

Words to live by and not to forget! I say every day needs to be a happy day and each day is a new begining. Love that embroidered linen...

Good day, Vicki dear,

Your mother was so correct. A merry heart really is like medicine. And your choice to celebrate each day is something to emulate.

I wrote a little song about that proverb, and I sing it often to keep my heart happy and healthy. I'll share it on my blog sometime soon.

Blessings to all of our military and their families. May they find peace and solace.

Have a wonderful day, my sweet friend,

Hi Vicki, I really liked your post tonight. Of course I feel the same about our military having had brothers, and son serve with some nephews serving right now. It goes back a long way in our family. I pray for them each day. Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend. Your Missouri Friend.
