Life lessons learned. . .

Treat each person along life's way with respect. . .

Don't look so much at the outside of a person. . .

but at their heart, deep, deep inside of them.

Until the age of 40, I had lived a pretty charmed life. And then, I experienced a great heart ache. This was a life changing experience for me.

It taught me to look at people differently realizing that we all carry our own set of problems and heart aches. God used this experience to help me be less judgmental of others.

I thank Him for this and hope to be a better person today than I was yesterday. To have a heart of love for others. I don't want you to think that I have arrived in any way. I have not. It is a daily journey. Just wanted to share something from my heart today. Hope your week has started out in a good way for you.

You have a beautiful vision of "having a heart for others", and you will uplift many folks you meet, with this attitude. I am walking this path too.

Hi Vicki,
Thanks so much for sharing from your heart. I too have found as we walk lifes journey God uses the ups and downs to grow us and use that in our relationships with others. The last five years have been some of the hardest for me but I see I have grown the most and appreciate Gods blessings so much more. He has changed me and made me so much more reliant on HIM. HE has been my constant through it all!
Be blessed my friend!

We are all learning everyday how to be better than we were yesterday! I just hope I can see the good in everyone as it's not so easy with some. I have to try harder I guess.
Happy May Day..

Vicki, my dearest, what a lovely post...full of heart and soul, and scattered with the rose petals of life, sweet yet fragile.

I love what you said about not looking so much at the outside of a person...it struck me very deeply because I was just thinking that yesterday at the store while looking at some young children. I thought how beautiful it would be to not stop with our eyes at the surface of the skin, but to be able to penetrate within to the shared Spirit we all are made from.

I adore your flowers, they are so pretty and welcoming, just like you. I am so glad I have met you.

May you be blessed today,
Marianne xox

P.S. I've decided today to create my tomorrow with my words...I just sold 2 books today. Now I only have 999,9998 to go!

Hi Vicki, Thank you for your post today. I know that you take every day you are given and deal with all of it's ups and downs. I just know that God is helping me to make the right decision knowing that one day there will be nothing more they can do. He has been my rock for several years. Take care, Hugs your Missouri Friend.

Hi Vicki,

I totally agree with your vision on life and how we need to respect others. No one really knows what is going on in another person's world. Blessings to you.
