A word of encouragement. . .

Ever felt sad, lonesome, discouraged, just a little blue?
I have, too.

And it is just at that very moment when God steps in and says, "I am here for you. I have been here all along. I love you!"

Thank you, God, for your tender mercies shown to me each and every day of my life.

Dear friends, just a word of encouragement for you this day. . . May you feel His Presence today and every day! He sends us a love letter each day!!

I hope this isn't one of those days for you, sugar. It's rainy and cloudy here but I'm just fine. ;-)

Vicki, thank you for such a beautiful post. I think we all have times when we are down and discouraged. I've felt it more so since my BFF passed away 6 years ago. She was too young, but the Lord called her home. Thanks for sharing some encouragement today. The Lord is always faithful.

Thank you Vicki for your post tonight. I have felt that way at times lately with everything going on in my life. Dealing with hubby's illness and trying to work. It is God that has helped see me through and give me the strength to keep my chin up and face whatever is thrown at me. Your Missouri Friend.

Dear Vicki,
So many times I have felt sadness. I have brought family members in to my home as they made their final journey home. Held them tight, not wanting to let go. But, it is why I'm still here, to help them along the way, so my sadness becomes bittersweet as I hold hands and comfort what is to be.
Thanks for your love...and his...

Finding solace in the simple things and seeking the beauty around me, especially in the midst of chaos and busyness, always brightens my day! The dawning of each new day is God's gift to us. Our ability to count our blessings and extend grace to one and all is our gift in return. Have a beautiful day dear Vicki! :) Tammy
