My Cottage Garden. . . Spring 2010

Ever since I could remember anything,
flowers have been like dear friends to me,

comforters, inspirers,

powers to lift up and cheer.~ Celia Thaxter

Sending some flower bouquets to you, dear friends,

with hopes that they will comfort and cheer!!

Your spring garden is really beautiful, all that colour. Spring seems a long time coming in this part of the world, brave daffodils and snowdrops only so far.

I know you are counting the days til you can get your hands in the sweet dirt and the 2011 blooms start to appear.
Thanks for sharing!

As soon as my work day was completed, I made a stop at one of my favorite floral shops and came home with a large assortment of beautiful flowers..I need flowers in my life. No matter what I have to do to have them, I can not be without!
I love your garden. They did just what you intended them to do..feeling comfort and cheer..Thank you..

Your flowers make me think Spring is on the way and the 70 degree weather we had today makes it seem closer. Your grandchildren are so cute and I enjoed your previous post. Have a great day and take care. Your Missouri Friend.

HI Vicki!
Oh I can't wait to see those blooms in real time! We're getting there, although I still see two feet of snow in some places in my back yard!
We have a few grassy patches ... but still lots of snow.
We're getting there!
Flowers will soon be here!
*Happy Thursday to you, Vicki!

Both of my balconies need some much needed color and cheer as many of my plants have not survived although we had a mild winter. This is the first year I've had this problem. Hope to get to the plant souk this weekend for some flowers to give life to our outdoor spaces. Have a beautiful day in your neck of the woods. Blessings, Tammy

Your garden is stunning. I feel the same way about flowers. I visit them daily in the garden to see what they are up to. Gardening is my therapy.
