A "Rosy" Pink Saturday, March 13, 2010

Top of the Mornin' to you my friends! When does that love affair with roses begin? I am not sure. Maybe in the springtime of our youth. My neighbor had a beautiful rose bush when I was a young girl. I can remember cutting roses from her bush and making flower bouquets for my hair. Today for Pink Saturday, I am sharing some of my rose covered dishes and also a few little Easter chicks. I hope you have had the best of weeks, and I am wishing for you a lovely weekend, too. Thank you so much for dropping by for a visit. Please visit Ms. Beverly, our sweet host, and the other pink posts by going here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/

Vicki, top o' the mornin' to you to, dear!

Loved seeing your roses and chicks. Do I spy Haviland? And Lady Carlyle? So pretty!

I won't be on the Pink Saturday train this week, as I hopped off on Tablescape Thursday and Foodie Friday because I'm going to be getting ready for Claudie's visit. We are having a birthday party for her here in Florida, and some other Pinkies are coming! Wish you could join us and that the other Pinkies could, too. It will take me a week to get ready. LOL! So I will see you in a few. Please don't forget me...

XO,

Sheila :-)

You have the dreamiest china pieces Vicki!! I love looking at them. And your chicks are so cute too! I have loved roses for as long as I remember. My grandma had tons of roses bushes. Some of my best memories are gardening with her :)
Have a beautiful weekend!

I love your dishes and the roses. Of course, I love the roses. I really would like to have my bushes back, but I just don't have the time to take care of them. The Peace Rose was one of my favorite colors. I will have to take a picture of my dozen roses I have. They are wooden and they are adorable. Take care.

Ms Vicky, I know those dishes. I'm always glad to see some of my treasures go to a good home were they will be cherished and shared with others. Would you be interested in attending an Easter tea? We will be having our second Easter tea @ the shop. I only provide the ambience of the shop, The host is a local lady that goes all out in her parties. Let me know since seating is limited. You will not regret coming to this one. Blessings, Marta.
