A Generous Heart. . .

I received a gift in the mail today from my friend, Julie Marie, at Idyllhours http://idyllhours.blogspot.com/
She recently had a blog give away and because of her generous heart, she wanted to give all of those who had entered her give away a special present. She sent me a pretty tag in a fleur de lis note card. I just love it. It is perfect for me. The tag says: The Lord bless thee and keep thee. It has blue flowers and a sweet satin blue ribbon tied to it. If you will click on the images above you can see it more closely. I will put this in a very special place in my home. Thank you, Julie Marie!

The parting pictures are some of God's beauty found in my garden today. We finally got some much needed rain, and I thanked God for every drop of it. Nothing waters the flowers better than rain from heaven. May your day be filled with wonderful friendships, family close to your heart, and the beauty of the earth. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.

Good morning Vicki, I have been busy all week with my cousin and two friends and getting ready to go out of town tomorrow. Not much time for visiting. Sigh.

I love your garden photos. Morning glories started popping up on my bank at the bottom of our property. Our front yard is an acre down hill. We live on the side of a mountain. My header is our view and that rainbow is real. We so love where we live except when it snows. We can't get down our mountain road. We get very little snow though. Anyway, your flowers are pretty. I adore flowers and mostly have flowers everywhere.

I announced the picnic winner today. I am sorry it wasn't you. Come over.

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs...Jeanne

Thanks Vicki for visiting CollectInTexas Gal and commenting on my Mama's Gravy and Daddy's Stetson. Blue morning glories are a favorite of mine, too. Enjoyed browsing through your blog this AM and seeing your treasures and reading the special stories. Hope to see you Saturday....Sue

Hi Vicki,
I recieved one of Julie Marie's beautiful tags too. Look for my post about it tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know how much I truly appreciate all your sweet comments. They always make my day. Thank you. Oh! I wanted to share something with you too. You said in your last comment you didn't know we had digital photo frames...well I'm not sure if you knew, but the best part of these frames is that you can fit a ton of pictures in them and it will play a slide show for you of all of them. Pretty neat huh? The picture of my daughter and her friend was only one of the many I have in that frame...I love it. Just thought it be fun to know. Again thank you so much for being so sweet to me. God bless and have a wonderful day.

Blessings and Hugs,
♥Ana~A Petite Cottage

Hello Vicki...I enjoyed your flowers so much! I believe my roses are thru for the year, but my purple Morning Glories are growing as if there is no tomorrow!
It is getting cooler, little by little, and so I have to get out of denial....Autumn is on the way!
What a lovely note and tag and what a nice lady to send something to all that entered her give-away.
