Maybe eggs fascinate me because they are harbingers of springtime and new life. . .
I remember as a young girl finding a goose egg on my uncle's farm. I had never seen an egg this size! My Uncle Jack let me keep it. I begged my mother to please let me take it to school for show and tell. She said, "Yes!" I was so excited to show my egg to my class. I am pretty sure my teacher was praying that I didn't drop it right in the middle of the classroom!!

Vicki, I absolutely love your teacups...such pretty pastels and designs! Oh, and your Easter baskets so beautifully decorated and filled with pretty eggs make my eyes want to linger on the soothing breathe of Spring it invokes. Your background prints make me feel cool and refreshed...thank you for that.
I always enjoy your posts.

Dear Vicki,
Sometimes it's best to let others in on a secret..so now we will excuse you if we see any hints of chocolate still on your lips! LOL! Love your new header..and of course the rest of your post too!
Hello sweet Vicki,
I love your new header! I like eggs too especially robins eggs which is why I have that colour in my home. Your photos are very sweet and I enjoy chocolate eggs too. Sometimes a wee bit too much! :) Thanks for your visit.

Sandi

Hello Vicki! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I too have many happy memories of church and my hubby and I still attend a large church in our city and are involved and in charge of a small group Bible study. (which has 30 members so it isn't too small)
I love this post on eggs. I also just LOVE your blog header!
Hi Vicki,
I agree that chocolate eggs are my favorites too. I love finding a little bird nest with little blue eggs inside......it's the most fascinating thing that nature allows us to see.
Love all your pretty Easter and spring pictures.
hugs

Me too...favorite kind of eggs are chocolate ones...Yummy. :-) Well, I guess I should say that as long it's chocolate it'll be my favorite...Hee, hee, hee. Love Chocolate! Sending you a big hug my friend...♥Ana
Hi Vicki,
Your assortment of eggs are gorgeous! I too like a chocolate egg this time of year. Perhaps a Cadbury :-) Your teacups are stunning. Are they from Bavaria?
what a lovely post! I too love these beautiful eggs. Pottery Barn are selling a nest of robins Egg blue ones for approx $24. Mine have just been dispatched and I can't wait to receive them. I'm decorating my Great room with a bird cage theme so I'm thinking they'll look lovely. Thanks for sharing, Sally xx
I love this, Vicki, I truly do!
I was so glad to hear from you. I'm so sorry I haven't been blogging. I've had computer issues and am on Mr. Magpie's work computer tonight. Don't know when I am going to have a chance to get a new one because I am up to my eyeballs in life stuff... Adelaide's husband had a triple bypass (unexpected), and another friend's husband is in the final days of pancreatic cancer. I have had no time to blog which I miss SO much.
I hope to be back by the end of spring. I miss you and all of my blogging buddies. I pray I have a functioning computer by then.
Take good care...
XO,
Sheila :-)
SO very pretty and I agree, my favortie eggs are chocolate!!
Hugs,
Deb
Very pretty! I just today purchased some blue speckled eggs, no chocolate though, at least not yet :-)
Many blessings,

Welcome back dear Vicki...I'm glad you had a good time with your family. I do agree that no bed is as sweet as ones own. I once read that Richard III traveled with his own bed in tow because he slept poorly in 'strange' beds.
Thank you for visiting. I love to hear from you.
Blessings,
Marianne xo
I think eggs are enchanting too, and bird nests. What a funny story about your goose egg. Your tea cups are so pretty.

Isn't it awesome that something as simple as eggs can bring a smile and giggle. That's what your words and pictures have done for me today so I say "Thank You." :)
