Another Fun Pink Saturday, October 3, 2009!!!

Roses for Pink Saturday today!! Thank you so much, sweet friends, for stopping by for a visit and for joining in the fun of another Pink Saturday. Our fun event is so graciously hosted by Beveryly at "How Sweet the Sound". Thank you so much, Beverly, for hostessing us each week.

In the first picture is a metal tray painted with pink roses. It hangs in my living room. I've shown in the second picture some rosy things that sit in front of my fireplace. In the third picture, you see a small rosy pitcher that I found in an antique store in New Mexico. I love this combination of blue and pink. In the fourth picture is a sweet wreath of roses and forget-me-nots painted on the glass of a small frame. If you click on the picture, you can see the charming details of this painting. The fifth picture shows some roses in my cottage garden. We have had rain and a little cooler weather, and the roses are starting to put on quite a show!! The last picture is of a vintage image containing my favorite things: a heart, roses, and a group of bluebirds.

Please visit Beverly and all the other participants for Pink Saturday by going here:http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ I hope you are having a wonderful autumn weekend!!!

Beautiful pinks! And beautiful family photos on your sidebar. I'm also a retired teacher. I taught for 30 years and have been retired since 98. I tutor several afternoons a week, but basically love the life that retirement offers.
Thanks for stopping by to visit. Hope to see you again. ~ Sarah

Hi Vicki,
I love all your pretty pinks. My favorites have to be the painted rose wreath frame and the vintage birdie print. So sweet! Did you paint the wreath? I love it. I also think the bottle with the rose and bow arrangement is gorgeous. I don't know if I've told you before, but PINK is my most favorite color! I'm not sure why I've never particiated in a Pink Satruday...ummm, maybe I should. :-) Anyway, wishing you a wonderful Pink Saturday.

Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana

Back from Market Days. We had to duck in and out of rain showers but this afternoon we are getting tons. I hear we are 17 inches short but this weekend should make up for a lot.
Don't know where Harker Heights is...will have to consult google map.
Hope to see you come by soon. Happy Weekend Blessings ;-)
