The most beautiful people we have known. . .

are those who have known suffering, known struggle, known loss
and have found their way out of the depths.
These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life
that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern.
Beautiful people do not just happen.
I dedicate my post to you, my beautiful friends and family, who have experienced life's struggles and losses but still choose to live your life with joy and compassion.  I hope you are having the loveliest of days!

This is a beautiful post dear Vicki! So are the two posts before this that I had missed while I was slacking from blogging. It is always a joy to read your lovely words here. I hope you are well and enjoying this season of gathering.

What a lovely post, Vicki. You are so right about these special people. I have a friend, a former pastor's wife, whose husband has Parkinson disease. He is very ill and is falling constantly. Even with all that she is going through with him, she still finds the time to minister to me. I took a bad fall last winter and I've been laid up for months. I so appreciate her and her strength and loving spirit! She knows first hand what it is like to suffer and still wears a smile on her face while ministering to others. Have a beautiful day, my friend.

A lovely post from a lovely lady. Vicki, I think you are one of the very people you wrote about. As always your post has given my soul a ray of sunshine amidst a very cloudy day here.

Love and hugs,
