I had a few empty jelly jars in my cabinet. . .

so I decided to cover them with some lace

add some pretty seam binding ribbon

plus a few embellishments.

Then, I added a tea light and placed them on my mantle.  I like the way they look of an evening with the lights dimmed.

I got to celebrate the Fourth of July with all of my grandchildren in Roswell, NM  This is a picture of them plus my daughter in law, Corina, at the "Alien Festival".  We rode the carnival rides, ate snowcones, visited the alien museum and saw a few extra terrestrials!
We also went swimming every day, shot up sky rockets, grilled outdoors, played and had a wonderful time.  I am so fortunate to have these beautiful people in my life.  Thanking God today for my children and grandchildren!  Hope you are having a good day, dear friends.

What a clever & pretty idea. Love your presentation. The kid-ling's are so handsome. What a fun time you had, I know. Love looking at Miss O's baby pic.

Have a beautiful day, Nicki

Vicki, your jelly candle holders are sooo lovely! What a great idea, and I love the way you added the lace and embellishments. They give off such a soft, pretty glow.

How nice that you were able to spend time with your beautiful family. It's always nice to be around loved ones.
