Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal. . .

When I first moved to my new apartment home, I was afraid I would miss all the birds that came to my backyard feeder at my other home.

However, I should have known that God would take care of that. You see, growing right outside my upstairs apartment window is a beautiful crepe myrtle tree. When I stepped out onto my patio the other morning, there were Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal just waiting for me on a branch of the crepe myrtle.

They seemed to be saying, "Every day possible! You didn't think that birds only lived at your old home, did you?" I had to smile.

Mr. Cardinal with his flashy scarlet feathers and Mrs. Cardinal with her more subdued wardrobe were both right there just waiting to greet me! I am going to put my hummingbird feeder out soon. I feel sure I will have some new hummingbird friends on the way. I hope your day has been a good one, dear friends. Thank you for coming by for a visit at Bunny Cottage.

So nice to have a balcony and a beautiful crepe myrtle right outside your window. It's a dusty day in my corner of the world but the birdies are out there chirping away wishing everyone a beautiful day. Best wishes and blessings to you, Tammy

What delightful visitors. I've heard red is the fashion color in the bird world.

Hello, Vicki...

I love the photos of your pretty things. All the colors and items my eyes find pleasure in...serene and feminine. It seems I've been missing out on some wonderful posts of yours, so I'm now a follower!

Your sweet story of the birds is such a happy one. Tiny visitors to look forward to, and of course God's little creatures always know where to find blessed friends, don't you think?

I certainly will be back to visit again.

Enjoy your weekend,
Marianne
