Time for a cup of tea on Tuesday. . .

Dear friends, thank you for stopping by for tea. It always makes me smile when you do.

I have the teakettle on. . .

A favorite tea set ready. . .

And a cup just waiting for you!! "Be like the bluebird who never is blue, for he knows from his upbringing what singing can do."~Cole Porter~ Spring is just around the corner here in Texas, and I am already hearing the birds singing a melody for me! Hope your day is full of smiles and singing, my friends!

Hi Vicki, I love the tea set and your tea kettle. I have one of those not near as pretty as yours. If I am at home, I usually have a tea kettle hot because I like tea. Brenda over at Shabby Cats and Roses included a packet of cinnamon tea in gift that I won. I now have some in the house. Nothing like a warm cup of tea when it is cold and rainy outside. We go from one extreme to the other temperature wise. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Hello dear Vicki,
Thank you so much for joining me for tea today. Your post is lovely and I adore the Lady Carlisle teacups! Love your tea kettle too!
I won't hear the birdsong until April when the finches and other sweet birdies will be back in my neck of the woods. But I have the pleasure of the Chickadees' company all year round. I do love our little feathered friends!
Have a delightful week, my friend.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Vicky,
you have so many charming things. But the tea set on the tray is really very special to me. Such a nice design. Did you paint it by yourself? Really artful. Thank you for sharing your treasures.
Best greetings, Johanna

A very feminine vintage tea. The tag in the first photo is fabulous and I'm wondering if you painted the kettle yourself?

Oh I love tea time. Me and the girls have been taking time out each day for a cup of tea. It can be very soothing after a hectic day. Your yellow plates are beautiful, and I love the "Bluebird" quote. Have a good week.
