Okay, I am ready for spring now...

Once the holidays are passed, I am ready for spring!! Yes, yes, I know I am rushing things, but you know I am a pink rosy kind of girl and so, this morning I started taking pictures of the things around my home that I love the most. I hope you don't mind me rushing the seasons as it warms my heart to think about spring and my upcoming garden. The sweet, sweet little bird cloche with the cupcake inside was a present from my children, Jeremy and Lindy. It surely reminds me of spring. The rose covered plate was a present I bought for myself. Loved it the minute I saw it. Dear friends, I hope you had the best of Christmases with your family and friends. Wishing you a new year full of peace and love and all of those things you love the most!!

I'm with you Vicki! And living in Florida we normally have nice balmy weather this time of year. But since last winter, we've had a LOT of cold, and I am so not liking it. Take care girlfriend. Wishing you a very blessed New Year.

Hi Vicki, wishing all the best for you and yours. Although it is supposed to be winter over here, this is our time of planting, so flowers are popping up and tomato bushes are growing big. We are in the 70's during the day and 50's at nite. Since we are used to extreme heat, this is cold for us. :) Happy week ahead, the last week of December, to you and yours, Tammy

Hi Vicky, thanks for stopping by Hill Country Mysteries. Our holidays were lovely, glad yours were good too.

My heart fibrillated when I saw your rose plate. It looks so much like one hanging in my mother's home--painted by her aunt in the 1930's. We treasure the few pieces we have of her work.

Love all these beautiful pictures! I'm not ready for spring yet, but it usually hits me in March, when the weather here can be so dreary! I'm still enjoying the snow we have left!

Hi Vicki!
I saw a gorgeous photo in a British magazine. It was of tiny bouquets of pink roses and pussy willows. Maybe that would tide you over. (BIG HUG!)

You ARE ready for spring! Oh, I love this blog. I don't know why I haven't seen you before.

I was looking at the November post of favorite things and saw the girl and bird print. I was instantly taken back to the Golden book, "We Help Mommy." Then I saw it was the same artist. I love her illustrations, too.

Hi Vicki, I think there is a lot of us wishing for Spring, but if the times goes as fast as the year has gone we won't have long to wait. I enjoyed your pictures today. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy New Year. Your Missouri Friend.

Oh, Vicki...We've hardly had a winter here in southeast Texas, so my heart is not yet ready for Spring...BUT your precious spring-like decor remind me of what Spring invokes ~ joy and rebirth.

I 'adore' the lovely colors and designs of your displayed figurines and collections. And the set table is so inviting that I just want to come in and enjoy a cup of tea, a sweet, and breathe in the freshness and peacefulness of the moment.

Thank you for sharing this, and Happy New Year,

Marianne
