Come and share a pot of tea~My home is warm, and my friendship is free.

Welcome to tea, sweet friends!! I will put the tea kettle on~"Remember the tea kettle, it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings!"
Please choose a favorite cup and saucer. . .

" Come along inside...

We'll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place." The Wind in the Willows

Below is one of my favorite plates adorned with a "sweet" and my grandmother's sewing scissors. I will always treasure them.

We can sit and visit a while here in my comfy very red chairs...

These ladies are from the 1915 Ladies Home Journal. I wonder if they are going out to tea. Would you wear one of these sweet hats to tea? If so, which one would you choose. I would have a hard time deciding. . .

I hope you have enjoyed our tea time today. Please visit all the others who are participating in our Tea Cups on Tuesday. You will find them here with our lovely hostesses: Martha@ http://marthasfavorites.com/ Sandi @ http://sandimyyellowdoor.blogspot.com/ and Terri@ http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/
May you have the happiest of weeks!!

Hi Vicki :) Love your sweet teapot, and I think I will use the pretty pink teacup :) I think the hat that I would choose to wear would be the pink one (shocker, hey, lol), though I don't like wearing hats, not even in the winter. I like to collect them though :) Lovely teapost my friend!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

HI Vicki,
Thanks for letting visit for "tea" today :) :) :) I love all the tea things...always lovely...but I am partial to the pink with the roses :) :) Also if I was going to wear one of those lady's hats to tea...I'd choose the pink one with the roses and the lace...so feminine :) :)
Oh, I found the darlingest white plate was scalloped edges and delicated pink roses with green twisty vines at a local church pantry. It was all by it's lonesome and no one wanted it...so I took it home with me :) :) It was on a table of FREE stuff!!! I'm looking forward to sharing it next Tuesday!!!

Thanks for taking the time to put all this together for us!!! Have a lovely week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Thank you so much for the lovely tea party! That red chair was particularly comfortable and I so enjoyed resting there with my tea cup in hand, while adjusting that gorgeous pink hat with the roses as it kept slipping over my eyes. But the hat didn't stop me from noticing what a gorgeous lamp you have there! :)

Your tea things are all beautiful. I really like the pale blue cups with the little pink roses. I'll choose the green hat to wear to your tea party.

I have your first tea quote on a little plaque that hangs in my dining room. :-)

I LOVE your tea kettle!! Did you paint it yourself?

Also, I love your teacups, especially the one on the right, with the pink and purple flowers.

And that gorgeous pillow!!! I LOVE it.

Also, I LOVE the vintage ladies. SO pretty and feminine.

Have a blessed day,

I love your sweet invitation to tea. Everything is so beautiful! And I have the same picture that you have above your red chair. My mother in love painted me a beautiful lamp very similar to yours. So I feel that we can share a cup together even though we are miles apart.

Blessings to you,
