Happy Pink Saturday!! April 24, 2010

If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring? The Pilgrims (This was a favorite joke of the third graders I taught for many years.) Hello, sweet and kind friends! Once again it is time to show our favorite pinks. Today, I am showing pinks from inside and out at Bunny Cottage. My garden has really been putting on a show this year. We had an extremely cold winter for Central Texas and lots of rain so far this spring. Nothing helps the garden to grow like rain sent from God. I can water all day with hose water, but when rain comes from heaven, the plants drink it up. Please visit Ms. Beverly and our other pink participants by going here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
Thank you so much for your visit today! It always brightens my day when you do. Sending lots of love and happiness your way!

And your gardens are stunning... if April showers bring May flowers, I should have alot! We have had rain solid for three days now and more predicted! You are right about the gentle rainwater... everything looks so green and alive right now... xoxo Julie Marie PS I still love that old "Mayflower" joke too!

I am spending time this evening to try to catch up on my blog reading and visiting my special friends. I loved your pink Saturday, the tea cups and your garden were beautiful. I have a doily like yours that my mother made for me many years ago. I have mine put away in my cedar chest for a memory of my mother. Your garden looks so inviting for sharing that cup of tea. I don't think my allergies would like it, but I still love the flowers of spring. Have a wonderful weekend. Your Missouri Friend.

Hi Vicki,
Your garden is beautiful, just beautiful. I also like your china, is that a soup cup? Whatever it is it is a beautiful work of art. The joke is funny, I will have to share that with little companion. Happy Monday!

Oh sigh... your garden is so lovely. I would not ever want to leave it. I can only imagine the fragrance wafting through the air. I do want to know where you aquired the heirloom seeds that grow those delightful flowering plates you have as a border? I have never seen them. I watch Martha Stewart all the time and she would always know about special items like this. :)

I know I will be back time and time again to visit the garden just to get a daily dose of calm.

Blessings to you and yours.
