Happy Pink Saturday!!!

Welcome to another Pink Saturday!! A special thanks to Beverly from "How Sweet the Sound" for hosting this event each week. In my first picture you see a 5 piece place setting of handpainted china. I purchased this beautiful china from Debbi at "Marionberry Cottage". It was handpainted by Irene Marshall of California in 1993. Mrs. Marshall is 95 years old and still painting! Handpainted china is a real weakness of mine.

In the second picture is a pretty rose hanger that I purchased from Adrianna's Boutique on e-bay. I have it hanging in my bedroom. I didn't hang any clothes on it because it is too pretty to cover up. It has the ribbon roses on it which I really love.

The third picture is a vintage card. Who could resist this cute little lady with her pink bonnet?

The last picture is one of my favorite pillows. I purchased it from Char at "Someplace in Thyme". I love the pretty bride, and she is surrounded in lace. Char does beautiful work on her pillows, faux pastries and many other items that she creates.

Please visit the other participants in Pink Saturday by going here: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/
Thank you for paying me a visit. God bless you all. Vicki

Hi Vicki, thank you for your visit to the castle. I am busy getting ready for company and time got away from me on visiting my blogging friends. Your hand painted dishes are so beautiful. I dearly love them. And to think the artist is still alive and you know who she is...awesome. Your pretty hanger should not be covered, I agree.
I love the little girl in the bonnet and the bride pillow is divine. Your are definitely a Pinkie. Smiling! Have a wonderful day.

Hugs...Jeanne

We left Ft Hood when I was young and moved to Germany. I've been back to TX but not to Ft Hood. I would like to go back and see what it's like.

Hi Vikki, your blog is delightful...soooo pretty. I love the idea of a Pink Saturday...no better way to spend the day. I am a china painter, however, have not painted for several years now due to being constantly commissioned for textile design work. I remember how much I enjoyed painting roses...your display has me "itching" to get my brushes out...lol.
Kind Regards
Judith
